When we think about the people who make Singapore what it is, migrant workers are at the heart of that story.
They build our homes, care for our loved ones, and help keep our city running. Yet when they face a critical illness or serious injury, many are left without the support they need. At the moment they need healthcare the most, too many fall through the cracks.
We believe that access to healthcare should never depend on where you come from or the job you do. That’s why, on Sunday, 2 August, we’re organising a community run in solidarity with migrant workers facing critical illness.
The Challenge 🏃
There are nearly 800,000 migrant workers in Singapore. Together, we’ll run 400 laps around the Commonwealth Football Field—one lap for every 2,000 migrant workers. Tony will run 106 laps (a full marathon). For the remaining 294 laps, we need your help. Run a lap, run a few, cheer from the sidelines, or simply come by to show your support. Every lap is a symbol of solidarity with a community that has given so much to Singapore.
👉 Register here to join the run!
Support the CritiCare Fund ❤️
We’ll also be raising funds for the CritiCare Fund, which supports migrant workers facing critical illness when they have nowhere else to turn.
