Funds from this campaign will go towards supporting Walk For Hope

IIM Alumni Singapore,  IIT Alumni Association Singapore, ITSCC and Wednesday Walkers are proud to support Walk for Hope 2025″ in raising funds for vulnerable individuals and families in Singapore. With every step, we aim to create meaningful impact and foster a compassionate community.

Why are we doing this?
Singapore has a strong social safety net, and yet there are situations (injured Migrant Workers, Single Parents, Caregivers, ex-Offenders, Multi-Stressed Families, Isolated Seniors etc), where the govt safety net falls short. Ray of Hope (RoH), as a crowdfunding charity, steps in to bridge that gap.

  1. IIM Alumni Singapore & IIT Alumni Association Singapore: The Singapore based alumni of  IIMs & IITs have a strong presence in Singapore and they aim to be force for good, uplifting both its members and the broader community, especially in Singapore. This effort of theirs was recognized by PM Lee Hsien Loong‘s last speech as the PM. Excerpts from the speech:

    QUOTE
It so happens that when people talk about top institutions in India, the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) and the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM), if you can get into one of them, it is like getting into MIT or Stanford or Harvard. And we have the biggest concentration of IIT and IIM graduates in the world, outside of India. They are in Singapore, and they have an association or two and maybe two associations. And from time to time, they have functions. I think that is good because it adds something to us. We generate our own talent. But if I can get such a pool, come here and work here, it is a tremendous plus for us.

  2. ITSCommunityCare (ITSCC): ITSCC was registered with ROS (MHA) in 2020 as a Non-Profit Organization (NPO). Led by Prakash Hetamsaria (PBM), its a group of 50 volunteers that aims to promote social integration in Singapore via initiatives at Singapore’s grassroot levels.
  3. Wednesday Walkers: Wednesday Walkers is a walking community with over 400 members. Through its walks, members explore Singapore and have some great conversations. Now the group is coming together to give back.
