Join us at K9 EmPAWer Walk 2025 to make a PAWsitive impact for Assistance Dogs and their handlers with disabilities. Assistance Dogs change lives, giving the GIFT of Dignity to Persons with Disabilities and soon, we’ll see Assistance Dogs beyond Seeing-Eye Dogs approach our sunny shores.

K9Assistance champions 4 types of Assistance Dogs!
- Mobility Assistance Dogs for People with Physical Disabilities
- Hearing Dogs for the d/Deaf or Hard-of-hearing
- Seeing-Eye Dogs for the Blind or vision-impaired
- Autism Assistance Dogs for the Autistic
Many Persons with Disabilities are unaware of these dedicated working dogs who can assist them to foster greater independence and dignity!
K9Assistance strives to promote greater awareness of these working dogs to Persons with Disabilities and the members of public alike. The success of these Assistance Dog teams rely on the support of the public as well.

Dress Code
As this is an outdoor walkathon, please dress in sports attire that you do not mind sweating in, and walking shoes. Do also come prepared with sufficient sun protection if needed (e.g. cap, sunscreen).
Do feel free to dress in purple to show your support for Assistance Dogs!

K9 EmPAWer Walk is K9Assistance’s flagship event, dedicated to raising awareness about Assistance Dogs and their handlers with disabilities. The tagline, “Striding for Inclusion, One Paw at a Time,” reflects K9Assistance’s ongoing mission to champion inclusivity and advocate for the acceptance of Assistance Dogs and their handlers.
Ticket purchases entitle you to an exclusive K9 EmPAWer Walk 2025 goodie bag and full event access on the event day.
Ticket purchases and donations are also eligible for 250% Tax Deduction.
Goodie bags will be provided on the day itself at the registration counter.

Yes, tickets are transferable. Please let us know prior to the event! During the event registration, please redeem your goodie bag using the name that was used during ticket purchase.
Please bring a water bottle for hydration, and sun protection if needed. Kindly note that there will be no baggage deposit/safekeeping services, so do pack lightly.
Participants bringing their pets should also come prepared with the necessary pet care items as needed (water bowl, nappy bags, etc).
K9Assistance (Limited) will not be liable for any loss of belongings at the event.
Yes! Accessibility routes to important points will be mapped out, and all participants will be notified of these routes prior to the event.
Please bring along your umbrellas and ponchos.
Should there be any unforeseen heavy showers, the event will be cancelled/postponed for safety purposes.
Only water will be provided for the event at the main area before the starting point, and at the midpoint of the walkathon.
Please ensure that you bring along your own water and food as required, to keep yourself hydrated and your energy levels up.
There will be no refunds given. All proceeds will be considered a donation to K9Assistance and are eligible for 250% Tax Deduction.

Yes. All participants will receive an e-Certificate of participation which can be used for their own personal records.
Yes! All pet dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcomed! Do ensure that all dogs are leashed at all times.
Do practice social responsibility by ensuring the cleanliness of the event space by picking up after your pet dogs.
Nappy bags are available at the registration counter (if required)
The route will be approximately 2km long. The route will begin and end at the main event location, with a u-turn at the end of the walking route.
Participants who wish to stop at any point may turn back and return to the starting point.
Volunteer marshals will be there to guide the participants
